If you have passed you 10+2 level with Chemistry and Biology, you can apply for a UG program in Biotechnology. Similarly, a candidate who has relevant academic background in Biotechnology or Life Science can be considered eligible for admission to a course in Applied Biotechnology. If you have completed graduation in Agriculture Sciences, Fisheries, Dairy Science, Horticulture, Forestry, Biotechnology, Botany, Microbiology, Biology or Zoology with Chemistry or Biochemistry as one of the subjects of study, you can apply for M.Sc program in Biotechnology. You can also apply for the same if you have studied B.Sc with an optional subject such as Genetics and Environmental Science, apart from studying Chemistry or Biochemistry. A candidate with a Master’s Degree can apply for a Ph.D program in Biotechnology.
